1. I grew up loving books but dreamt of becoming a classical pianist. Somewhere along the way, about 11 years ago, I discovered writing as a way of getting things out of my chest.  And now, I write children's books and enjoy every process of it.

2. I was accepted by four universities in the US but ended up finishing my degree at the Helsinki School of Economics. And the Aurora Borealis was one of the most beautiful sights I've ever witnessed.

3. I'm passionate about my family, my writing, playing the piano, and everything in between. 

​

4. My passion for piano is so much so that I even did an Associate Diploma in Piano Performance at Trinity College London and later was offered a job as a piano teacher. 

​

5. If I'm not writing, you can find me playing the piano, catching up on an interesting TV series, crocheting, pulling weeds in the garden (I know it's a weird past-time, but seriously, it's quite relaxing. You should try it.), and kissing my children's faces.

6. I celebrate the joys of motherhood, travelling, and good food.

7. I'm a mother by day and a writer by night. I do have a writing space by the window, in the corner of the room, in front of the computer. Sometimes, I'll sit on the sofa with the TV on and a notebook and pen in hand. The sound of the TV acts like a white noise because I'm not exactly watching.

8. My children are my inspiration in my stories.

9. I like reading children's books because they are filled with imagination, humour, and wonder. I also enjoy good books on biographies, romance, poems, and scientific fiction.

10. If I didn't move to another country, I would probably still be in the paper industry, taking over the family business.

​

11. A Kindle or an actual book in hand? - I'm a book-in-hand person. I like to feel and flip the pages of the book, which you can't do with a Kindle.
